Educators and families can join together during the summer and get to know one another better at the school garden.
Corporate campus gardens can be utilized to welcome employees back from working from home. The gardens will help ease the transition, produce wonderful fresh food and provide a healthy break from the workday.
Every garden is an opportunity to enhance community bonds, build a Village and donate surplus crops to local food pantries. You can add a group construction project to build a Farmer's Market stand and have garden planning parties, and student and employee art shows over the winter months.

Benches and Gardens is an open source program designed to share with evryone, and tailor to fit your community. Our Mission is to optimize school and corporate campuses for the enrichment of all communities; eliminating hunger, encouraging social interaction, and ending smartphone addiction. See Simon Sinek's thoughts on phone addiction here:
Initially everyone brings a package of seeds and whatever tools are in their garage. Dirt, water, seeds and people. Bring a musical instrument if you have one, and a picnic of course. Share generational stories and recipies with your neighbors and friends. That's it. Old School fun. Take a look at The Offine Club - that's the space where we fit: https://bento.me/theofflineclub
There is also built in opportunity to create a mini Farmers Market with a percentage of each year's school crops and perhaps a Pumpkin Patch and a Fall Festival. Maybe a Holiday Market and a Christmas Tree lot in the Winter - whatever you like. The proceeds can assist with or replace traditional fundraising, building or purchasing Benches and help students learn about business.
Further, students can become philanthropists using part of the profits and food production and learn about that world as well.
